Construction of Developmental Housing Units for Al Dar Suburb Project
The project involves the construction of 1,092 housing units distributed across 39 residential buildings, each consisting of a ground floor + 6 typical floors, in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. The scope of work, as stipulated in the contract, includes:
- Excavation, soil replacement, plain concrete works, and construction of reinforced concrete raft foundations.
- Construction of the concrete structure (ground floor and typical floors) using aluminum formwork systems.
- Interior and exterior finishing works and facades.
- Supply and installation of kitchens, aluminum works, handrails, doors, and metalworks.
- Roof waterproofing works.
- Electrical and mechanical works.
- Testing and commissioning works and phased handover of the housing units.
- Site preparation works, including a ready-mix concrete batching plant, an aluminum workshop, a soil and concrete testing laboratory, warehouses, and administrative offices.
Key Project Achievements

Completion of excavation, soil replacement, plain concrete foundations, and reinforced concrete raft foundations, achieving 100% progress.

Casting of 260 floor slabs, achieving 95% of the project’s total floor slabs.

Approval of 600 drawings and technical submittals out of 611, achieving a 98% closure rate.

Completion and furnishing of the show apartment, and commencement of finishing works and kitchen installation.

Execution of handover works (Snagging and De-Snagging) for the first and second targets.

Establishment of an on-site ready-mix concrete batching plant to meet the project’s requirements without interruption, along with an aluminum workshop and a laboratory to ensure material quality.

Compliance with occupational health and safety standards, with an on-site clinic and continuous worker awareness activities.

Continuous coordination with the project owner and consultant to monitor implementation and address technical observations.
